Kathryn was introduced to yoga philosophy and meditation in 1981 and started a regular yoga practice with the then Iyengar teacher Shandor Remete. 12 years later she undertook teacher training with the Heart of Yoga Association in the tradition of T Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. This tradition honours a student’s individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Breath is integral to the practice.
Kathryn has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and specialises in making yoga accessible to mature students and those with mobility concerns. She is a registered member of Yoga Australia.
