Jenni Heinrich has spent much of her adult life as a musician and music teacher, with a long-standing personal interest in yoga and meditation. She began practising yoga in her 20s and completed a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat in 2012. A chance meeting in France in 2019 introduced her to Sophrology—a transformative mind-body technique that immediately resonated with her both personally and professionally.
At the time, Jenni had been searching for tools to support the emotional and mental wellbeing of the children she taught. She was struck by the profound impact Sophrology had on her own self-confidence and inner peace.
In 2020, Jenni undertook a comprehensive 20-month Sophrology teacher training course, followed by an Advanced Sophrology certification the following year. The advanced training introduced her to the use of sung syllables to activate and balance energy within the body—an experience that naturally evolved into her unique integration of crystal sound bowls into her sessions.
Jenni now offers courses, online casual classes, and retreat sessions at the serene Pilbara Park Stone Yoga Studio, located 6 km north of Eaglehawk in Bendigo.
