Michelle’s meditations are gently rooted in the Vipassana traditions of Buddhism, a practice she discovered while living and working in Singapore and Laos. She believes that meditation and quiet reflection open the door to deep self-healing and personal growth. Her sessions honour the Lao Vipassana tradition, while also reflecting her own journey and the insights she has shared with hundreds of people who have flourished under her guidance.
Her path of learning in Asia took her well beyond traditional Buddhist teachings. Michelle sought out wisdom from shamans and traditional healers across the region, learning from mentors in India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. She now blends these rich traditions into a unique, heart-centered practice that invites participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore their own inner wisdom.
Michelle also holds a very special honor — she is the only woman, foreigner, and non-Buddhist to be granted permission by the Buddhist Council of Laos to teach meditation within the sacred temples of Luang Prabang. This rare recognition reflects the deep respect she has earned in the spiritual community and the authenticity she brings to her teaching.
