With a love for many styles of Yoga Julie has been a student for 13 years. 6 years after completing her yoga teacher training with Essence of Living on the Gold Coast, she now teachers regular Hatha style and chair yoga classes in Mildura. Together with yoga philosophy and an emphasis on the connection of movement with breath and alignment the classes are influenced with a touch of Iyengar, Vinyasa and finished with Yin and restorative.
After her first Yoga Nidra she was hooked. She now regularly teaches this practice of seemingly doing nothing while awareness is heightened. Both the slower physical practice of yoga and Yoga Nidra have been a saving grace after the sudden passing of her beloved father.
