Growing up in the busy city of Hong Kong, Ka-Lai Chan was accustomed to a fast-paced life where everything needed to be done quickly and correctly. Amid the rhythm and energy of the city, she discovered meditation as a space to pause, breathe and reconnect.
Rooted in Buddhist teachings, meditation has been part of Ka-Lai’s life for more than 20 years. It has become the grounding practice she returns to when the world around her feels like it is constantly moving. For Ka-Lai, meditation is a practice that invites patience rather than perfection, creating space for awareness, stillness and self-discovery.
Over the years, she has continued to explore the many ways meditation can support both body and mind, extending beyond simply easing stress. To deepen her practice and understanding, Ka-Lai completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, first in Nepal and more recently in Melbourne.
She is passionate about sharing what she has learned and creating a welcoming space where others can slow down, turn inward and discover the benefits of meditation for themselves.
