Sarah DeBorre

When Sarah attended her very first, beginners yoga class she knew there and then that one day she’d become a yoga teacher. In that moment, Sarah says, “I was connected, alive and excited about what yoga could teach me. I turned to my friend and I told them that I was going to be a yoga teacher one day and they simply laughed at me and rolled their eyes”.

It’s Sarah who has now had the last laugh! She completed her teacher training with SomaChi in South Yarra and went on to teach weekly slow flow classes at the Australian School of Yoga & Meditation – Gokula House in Collingwood. From there she moved to teaching Slow Flows, Vinyasa and Power Flows at Oshun Yoga in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. A move to Central Victoria didn’t stop Sarah doing a weekly commute to Melbourne to continue her passion, but the pandemic did and like many others, she moved to teaching online and dappling in YouTube!

In her day job, Sarah has spent over 20 years working in music and the arts. Sarah also loves compiling the perfect yoga playlist!
