Izabela Maher

Hi there my name is Izabela. I’ve been living in Melbourne for 28 years. I was born in Poland and raised in Germany.
I speak three languages on a daily basis. I am married and have two grown children. I love being active in any way, including cycling, hiking, exploring and all forms of fitness. I also love cooking and baking vegan dishes and am endlessly trying new recipes.
Travelling the world is how I met my husband with whom I experienced a lot of adventures including hiking the Inca Trail, Annapurna Circuit, Patagonia in Chile and Argentina. I usually travel light and always carry my beloved backpack.
Yoga is lastly my savior and my newest passion. I’ve been practicing for over ten years and teaching for four. India, where I’ve been taught the ancient practices of Yog by senior masters, will forever be in my heart and if I were to do a continuation of my training, I’d always and only go back to this land of the Rishis.
I’m YTT500 trained, but besides this I love anatomy, biomechanics, alignment as well as Pranayam to down (or up) regulate the CNS.
